It’s a week before Christmas and things are really starting to ramp up. I don’t want to be the one that adds any stress to your life, so I am going to keep the next few posts simple but valuable.
There are a few things I do every day that intentionally make my life better. I started them a while ago and now they are habits. Good habits are game changers. I love the quote by the ever-popular, Unknown, “You will never change your life until you change something you do daily.”
Today’s habit is to start your day by listing your big wins from yesterday. Who doesn’t want to think about their big wins? This doesn’t need to be “solved world peace” big, just big to you. Yesterday, my big win was taking the time to have a laughter-filled breakfast with my college roommate. Recounting our big wins daily underscores our successes. To choose my big win, I have to go through my whole day mentally; not only do I always see a number of wins, but then I get to choose one as my BIG win. Counting our wins every day–how powerful is that?
