Are You An Inventor?

“Necessity is the mother of invention” – whether this should be attributed to Plato, Erasmus, or Frank Zappa – is still unclear. Regardless, it’s brilliant and it’s going to be my mantra for the foreseeable future! You are welcome to adopt it as well.

Last night, Doug and I decided we would go outside this morning and catch the sunrise. It was cold but spectacular, and my camera didn’t do it any justice. I thought about how many sunrises I have intentionally risen for in my lifetime and the answer is – not many! All in, this was probably a 15 minutes venture, but well worth the “trip”.

Lock-down eliminates a lot of things, but if we remain focused on what we CAN’T do, then we have turned a blind eye to what we CAN do! Is your glass half empty or half full? It’s your choice. Come on, be an inventor with me. Let’s go. We got this!

With Gratitude,
Beth
