Friday’s Quote

“I’m a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it.” ~ Thomas Jefferson

As July 4th is essentially upon us, I thought a quote from Thomas Jefferson seemed fitting. I can’t tell you how many people I have heard say, “I’m not a very lucky person.” I even think there was a period in time when I believed that about myself too, but no more! I now believe what Thomas Jefferson was trying to profess—if you don’t have luck, make it!

As we enter into this holiday weekend (if you’re in America), start to pay attention to what you want, whether that be at work or at home. What happens next is critical—what do you say in your mind about getting it? Do think in terms of all the possibilities? Or, like most people, do you think in terms of the negative and all the reasons why it can’t and won’t happen for you?

Maybe lucky people aren’t lucky at all, they simply believe it’s POSSIBLE, and move forward with that mindset. Most people will shut down a fabulous thought before it has ever had the time to grow roots. “Lucky people” aren’t any luckier than you and me, they simply believe EVERYTHING is possible for them. They know it in their heart. They believe, “Why not me?” And that’s where their luck begins!

Let’s GO! WE GOT THIS!
