Motivational Monday!

Did you feel like last week was a weird first week of the new year? Did you feel like it wasn’t really the kickstart you had in mind? And did you find yourself constantly feeling like you didn’t even know what day of the week it was? Me, too! Last week was horrible and it certainly didn’t feel like the fresh clean start I was looking for.

So I’ve decided that THIS is the first week of the new year for me—and you, too, if last week was a bit of a disappointment. It is the first full week. And I want us to be aware of our ability and our prerogative to “reset” any time we want. I needed to, mentally, so I did. I’m sharing this right that we have to reset, because the need for a rest is coming—not if, but when.

Statistically, most resolutions and goals will fail within the first 3 weeks of the new year, and that, my friend, is good information to have! If we know failure is likely (90%), wouldn’t you want to know how to be that other 10%? Today, I am informing you that not only is failure almost guaranteed, but also of our “right to reset,” —and that can be any day you want, like Monday, January 9th. We are NOT failing! We will reset should we need to do so. We WILL be that 10%.

Let’s GO! WE GOT THIS!

P.S. I will be hosting my annual Goal Setting Class in February (tentatively scheduled for Wednesday 2/15). I always choose this time because it’s when most people need to recover from a failed set of resolutions. Save the date, it’s a class you’re not going to want to miss.
