“Someone else is happy with less than what you have.”
~ Unknown
If we haven’t taken a moment every day, perhaps over our nightly meal, to express verbally and emphatically what we are grateful for during this pandemic, then it’s arguable that we have missed our biggest lesson and growth opportunity. But the good news is — it’s not too late!
I’m going to point out 3 doozies that perhaps we have all overlooked daily: First, imagine life right now without WiFi. Second, imagine life without electricity. And finally, imagine life with a rationed and unpredictable food supply. Stop and pause on each one long enough to feel your stomach start to knot up. We should not only be grateful daily, but profoundly so!
“Two things define you. Your patience when you have nothing and your attitude when you have everything.”
~ Unknown
So the question for today is: Do we have nothing or do we have everything? Before you read this, I’ll bet you were leaning toward “nothing,” or at least a lot less than before, but maybe now you feel differently. I hope so. I do.
Be well. Stay safe. Stay healthy.
